HEFNER WINS RESTRAINING ORDER

HUGH HEFNER has been granted a restraining order against a man who was twice arrested this summer (08) for allegedly ramming his car into the gates of the Playboy mansion.
The magazine boss claims he fears for his safety and that of his three main girlfriends Holly Madison, Kendra Wilkinson and Bridget Marquardt, after Glen Allan Meador reportedly attempted to break into their Los Angeles home.
Meador was arrested by cops on two separate occasions in one week in August (08). He was charged with vandalism, but has pleaded not guilty to the allegations.
In legal papers filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on 18 September (08), Hefner, 82, says, "I am greatly concerned that Mr. Meador is unstable and a viable threat to my safety."
According to website TMZ.com, the order has now been granted, meaning Meador must stay at least 100 yards (91 meters) away from Hefner and his girlfriends - who were listed in the court papers as other protected persons - for five years. He is also banned from attempting to contact them by phone or email, and is not allowed to be in possession of a gun.
