HAYES CAUSES FLIGHT CHAOS TO KEEP FANS HAPPY

Australian singer DARREN HAYES caused chaos on a flight - in a bid to keep his fans happy. The ex-Savage Garden frontman, 35, was travelling from Perth to Sydney when he realised he had not written his weekly tour diary on his MySpace website. Hayes desperately trawled through the plane looking for a power cable for his laptop so he could update his page on the social networking site. He says, "It was an ordeal. Spilled my drink on my lap. Annoyed the cabin crew walking up and down the plane trying to get power for my laptop. Got in trouble for cutting through the service area. "I was just trying to find someone who had the right power converter. "When I finally got it (after three trips back and forth and many 'tisk tisk' noises from passengers and staff alike) it didn't work. Ooops! Sorry he he."
