HAYEK: 'I WAS NEVER PETERS' MISTRESS'

SALMA HAYEK has fired back at reports she once romanced BARBRA STREISAND's alleged ex JON PETERS, releasing a statement to deny all links to the producer.
Peters has reportedly listed the lovely Latina among his conquests in a racy new autobiography he's shopping around Hollywood, but she wants no part of his lothario legacy.
In a statement, the Frida star says, "I have never dated nor had a romantic relationship with Mr. Peters. My name has been continually linked to his romantic liaisons, and I want to put a stop to this lie."
The producer also reportedly dated Kim Basinger, Pamela Anderson, Sharon Stone and Catherine Zeta-Jones, and has promised to reveal all about his romances in the book.
Peters had pulled plans to release the explosive tome after he was threatened with legal action. He handed back his $700,000 (£466,600) deal with publishing giant Harper-Collins to write his memoirs, Studio Head, after the original transcript was leaked and certain stars featured in the book threatened to sue if it ever hit shelves.
The book included tell-all extracts about Streisand, who Peters allegedly had a string of torrid affairs with, as well as co-stars Robert Redford, Ryan O'Neal, and Kris Kristofferson.
Peters pulled the tome last month (May09), saying, "I have been besieged by lawsuits and threatened litigation by some of the most important figures in showbusiness."
