HATHAWAY'S BOYFRIEND CAUGHT UP IN LEGAL MESS

Actress ANNE HATHAWAY's real-estate developer boyfriend has been hit with a lawsuit for allegedly spending another man's money on his famous girlfriend. US supermarket billionaire Ron Burkle claims Raffaelo Follieri took $55 million (GBP27.5 million) of his money and lavishing it on The Devil Wears Prada star. According to the lawsuit, which has been obtained by TMZ.com, Burkle alleges Follieri spent at least some of the cash on private jet travel for himself and Hathaway, dog care for their Labrador and shopping sprees. The money was supposed to be poured into development of land purchased from the Catholic Church. In a statement, Follieri says, "We believe we have conducted our affairs for the joint venture successfully." TMZ.com reports there's more controversy ahead for Hathaway and her boyfriend after he was allegedly spotted with an unnamed Roberto Cavalli model at a New York hotel recently, while the actress was shooting new film Get Smart on location.
