HATCHER STILL WAITING FOR OBAMA AUTOGRAPH

TERI HATCHER is still waiting for President BARACK OBAMA's autograph after giving up a night with her daughter to share it with him. The actress met the then-future president at a fundraiser in Los Angeles last year (08) and impressed him with the fact she had sacrificed a night with her daughter, Emerson, to be at the bash.
She says, "We had a moment where we shook hands (and) I told him I was a single mom. I remembered the event was on a night I had custody of my daughter and I don’t ever go out when I have custody of my daughter.
"I said to him, ‘This is the only thing I would have left my daughter at home for,' and he said, 'I’ll have to get you an autograph on a napkin.’”
Hatcher tells U.S. news show Extra the souvenir never came, and in a message to the President she states, "You actually owe Emerson an autograph. First you can handle the economy. Then you can handle the war. Years from now when things are better, maybe you’ll send an autograph.”
