HATCHER CHAMPIONS SHERIDAN FOR AN EMMY

TERI HATCHER has dismissed ongoing reports she and NICOLLETTE SHERIDAN never got along on the set of DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES - by insisting the actress should land an Emmy nomination for her final episode on the show.
Sheridan recently filmed her finale, in which her character Edie Britt appears to die in a bizarre car crash, and Hatcher is adamant she will be missed.
Scoffing at any suggestion Sheridan was unpopular on the set, Hatcher says, "I feel really grateful to have had the opportunity to work with her... She deserves all the honour and respect in the world.
"Her final performance was a fabulously written episode. She should get nominated for an Emmy."
The episode will air in America on 19 April (09).
