HAT-TRICK OF ARIA AWARDS FOR EMPIRE OF THE SUN

Electronic duo EMPIRE OF THE SUN have won three Australian Record Industry Association (ARIA) Awards for their hit album WALKING ON A DREAM.
The Aussie musicians, who worked with rapper Jay-Z on his latest album The Blueprint 3, picked up nods for Best Cover Art, Best Video and Best Producer.
Other winners included You Am I and the Hilltop Hoods, who shared the Best Engineering award, Katie Noonan, for Best Jazz Album, and The Brandenburg Orchestra, which was honoured for Best Classical Album and Best Soundtrack.
The ceremony honoured nominees in the Fine Arts and Artisan categories. The winners of the main ARIA Awards will be announced on 26 November (09) at the Acer Arena in Sydney, Australia, presented by Home & Away star Kate Ritchie and Underbelly's Gyton Grantley.
