Brad Pitt is being bombarded with hats from fans and friends and is now planning to donate several to charity.

Brad Pitt has a huge collection of hats.

The 'Inglourious Basterds' actor regularly receives gifts from fans and friends, and his growing assortment of headwear is starting to annoy his partner Angelina Jolie.

A source said: "It's fair to say Brad has quite a collection of hats now. It's become something of a joke between him and Angelina as just about every day he's sent one as a gift.

"People have clearly picked up on his liking for a nice hat and so he even gets given them by people he meets in the movie industry or though his aid work."

Brad - who raises six children with the Hollywood beauty - has finally agreed to Angelina's pleas to sort through his collection and give away any hats he doesn't like.

The source added to Absolute Now: "He has more than he could ever wear so a lot of them he plans to donate for charity."
