HASSELHOFF'S EX FIGHTS FOR TRIAL POSTPONEMENT
DAVID HASSELHOFF's ex-wife PAMELA BACH is fighting to postpone her forthcoming trial over a hit-and-run incident earlier this year (07).
The actress/singer - who divorced the Baywatch star last year (06) - filed papers in Los Angeles Superior Court appeals division on Tuesday (28Aug07) in an attempt to delay her trial, which is due to begin on Wednesday (29Aug07).
Bach allegedly reversed into a car in Hollywood on 22 January (07), but left as there appeared to be no damage to either vehicle. An onlooker took her license plate and reported the incident to the police.
But Mark Geragos, her lawyer, claims a postponement is necessary because of a processing error by a judge, which saw Bach booked on the charge despite not having been arrested.
Bach appeared in an L.A. court earlier this year (07) to plead not guilty to the charge, and was booked by the judge presiding over the case.
Geragos also wants the appeals division to reverse the judge's decision.
