HASSELHOFF'S CUSTODY RIGHTS RESTORED

DAVID HASSELHOFF has won back the right to visit his two children with former wife PAMELA BACH, just weeks after a video of the drunken actor hurling expletives to his teenage daughter was leaked. Earlier this month (May07), a judge told the Baywatch star he could only telephone his kids until a hearing decided how the footage would affect his long-term custody rights. However, Hasselhoff's lawyer Melvin Goldsman revealed before the start of a closed-door court hearing yesterday (21May07) his client could see his kids again. He claimed the suspension order had been lifted on Friday (18May07). It was implemented on 7 May (07) by Superior Court Judge Mark Juhas and was set to expire yesterday. Although refusing to give details of the hearing, Hasselhoff said outside court, "It went very well, the truth was told, and I can't say any more." Bach's attorney, Debra Opri, added, "We're very happy," but also gave no further information. Another hearing has been scheduled for 1 June (07).
