HASSELHOFF MOURNS MOTHER
DAVID HASSELHOFF is in mourning after his mother died from a stroke earlier this year (09).
The Baywatch star, who is battling an addiction to alcohol, lost his mum Dolores in February.
And the grief-stricken actor, who was by her side when she died, feels the loss every day - because she helped him cope when his booze-fuelled antics landed him in trouble.
He says, "I'm okay until I start talking about her, then I just burst into tears. A week before she left us she said, 'This is a good day to die.' She was ready to go. On the day she died I was with her; the whole family - Dad, me, my sisters - we were all there. I was meditating and saying prayers in the morning. I said, 'Angels take my mother and make her peaceful.'
"My parents were married for 59 years. My first thought when I woke up this morning was, 'I wonder how Dad is today?' which, in turn, led to more thoughts and I didn't want to get out of bed. But you have to. You have to get up and face the music.
"Mum was my biggest supporter and when I screwed up she was always there, refreshingly sober with her comments. She'd say, 'That's life, David'."

My brother passed away on the 25th of May of 2006.Not a day goes by where I
don't think of him. The last year he was here on May 10 he remember my birthday
that day, usually he forgets. He was in a good mood,he didn't let anything get
him down.He knew he was dying of cancer and only had maybe a month with us,but
he made the best of it.
So I know how you feel about your mother. She will always be with you in your
heart. And you can still talk to her, I do with my brother. My brother is the
only one that knew what I was going thru' So cherish the memories of your mom
until you two meet again
Take care, your loyal fan
