HASSELHOFF INSPIRED BY SUICIDAL TEEN
DAVID HASSELHOFF was inspired to overcome his battle with alcohol after meeting a troubled teenager who had killed a woman in a car accident. The former BAYWATCH star, who has spent time in rehab for alcohol-related problems, was stunned by the young man's experiences when they met at a Betty Ford Clinic in 2002. He says, "He'd overturned a car, killed a lady and was suicidal. "I realised I don't have problems."
