HASSELHOFF AWARDED LIBEL DAMAGES

Actor DAVID HASSELHOFF has won undisclosed libel damages from a magazine over claims he was abusive at a nightclub. The U.K. and U.S. editions of OK! magazine also claimed the former Baywatch star was "off his face" at a Los Angeles nightclub after winning a custody battle for his daughters in July (07). The magazine's publishers agreed to pay damages and will print an apology for making the allegations. Hasselhoff is "pleased" with the outcome of the case.
