HARRIS + LOVETT TAKE TO THE SEAS ON COUNTRY CRUISE

Country singers EMMYLOU HARRIS and LYLE LOVETT are among the stars taking part in a seven day music cruise in the Caribbean next February (08). The pair join Shawn Colvin, John Hiatt, Patty Griffin and Buddy Miller on the inaugural Cayamo cruise, which sails through Cozumel, the Cayman Islands and Jamaica between 4 and 10 February. Harris says, "I was asked if I wanted to do a cruise and I immediately said no, because I've never been on a cruise. The idea of going on a boat, it seems a little claustrophobic. "And then they said, well Buddy's doing it, and Buddy Miller is one of my favourite people in the whole world. I thought, well, if Buddy is doing it then I guess I'll do it, and then, of course, I found out about all the other people that I'm real fans of, and friends with. "And it is February, and we will be able to get out of Nashville."
