HARRIS DENIES REPRIMANDING MORTENSEN

LATEST: APPALOOSA director ED HARRIS has laughed off reports he reprimanded co-star VIGGO MORTENSEN - after the star nearly broke his neck in a daring on-set horse race.
Reports in January (08) claimed Harris flew into a rage when he found out Mortensen had challenged a stuntman to the race, stood on the horse's saddles, and invited cast and crewmembers to bet on the outcome.
The Danish actor's saddle reportedly slipped and he fell to the ground at high speed, leaving him unhurt.
But Harris insists, "I don't know anything about it. If he did, I would have said, 'I hope you beat him! Go! Go!'"
