HARRELSON PLANS TOUGH STARVATION RETREAT

WOODY HARRELSON is planning a strict starvation retreat on a remote Hawaiian island. The Natural Born Killers star hopes to take time out from his acting career to live on nothing but spring water for 40 days. He explains, "I'm going to go to a small island in Hawaii, a really remote place, and drink the water right from the stream and then consume nothing else for 40 days. "I've always wanted to do it... I don't take it lightly. I know it's gonna be hard." Harrelson refuses to name the remote location where his fasting will take place - because the area is only known to native Hawaiians. The movie star has lived on Maui with his partner and their kids for the past eight years.
