HARGITAY WINS SPRINGSTEEN GUITAR AUCTION

LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT star MARISKA HARGITAY is the proud new owner of a BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN guitar after placing the winning bid in a charity auction.
The actress dug deep into her pockets and offered up $50,000 (£31,250) for one of The Boss' 20-year-old guitars during the Wednesday night (04Nov09) fundraiser, which was held as part of the New York Comedy Festival, reports the New York Daily News.
After Hargitay was declared the lucky winner of Springsteen's treasured instrument, event host Brian Williams quipped: "That's some good Law & Order money right there!"
