HARGITAY STANDS UP FOR FLYERS ON DELAYED FLIGHT

LAW & ORDER: SVU star MARISKA HARGITAY was a huge hit with fellow passengers while waiting for a flight to New York - she tackled staff over a delay.
The actress was furious when her plane from Los Angeles to the Big Apple was held up without explanation from American Airlines' staff.
So Hargitay put herself forward as a spokesperson for her disgruntled fellow passengers - and stormed over to the check-in desk demanding answers, according to New York gossip column PageSix.
A source tells the publication, "Mariska liaised with American Airline (sic) ticket agents on behalf of the entire plane to get a real answer on when the flight was going to leave."
