HARD-FI'S HEARTBREAK BEHIND TRACK

HARD-FI frontman RICHARD ARCHER will put on an Oscar-winning performance on the band's forthcoming tour to sing a track he penned in tribute to his late mother. The vocalist will act his way through the song to beat the emotion of the lyrics, dedicated to his late mother Jennifer who died in 2005, when Hard-Fi tours the U.K. this winter. He says, "My plan is to approach it like I think an actor would. "The only acting I've ever done is in school plays so I don't really know how, but I'm going to try to be almost like a different character. As if it's about someone else and I'm assuming their emotions. "It's kind of weird though, as a lot of songs on the new album are very personal."
