HAPPY HUNTER NO LONGER FIGHTING THE FAT

Rocker ROD STEWART's ex-wife RACHEL HUNTER is celebrating slimmers after spending years fighting to stay trim. The former model is the new face of diet product company Slim-Fast and hosted the Style Your Slim fashion show in Los Angeles on Monday (28Jan08), where women who had won their battles with weight showed off their figures. And Hunter revealed that she has constantly battled weight issues throughout her career. She says, "I hate scales, I do not like hopping on them. Self-esteem sucks. I have fought with self-esteem. "Some days you feel great about yourself and sometimes it's hard." Hunter admits age has helped her come to terms with her weight and her figure - and she's no longer prepared to fight to stay super slim. She adds, "I'm really comfortable at around 145 (pounds). People say, 'Oh my God, that's heavy!' "I just love women who embrace what they've got."
