HANKS' JEEP INCIDENT REVEALED

US tabloid the National Enquirer has landed TOM HANKS in trouble after revealing all about the near-death Jeep accident he had while filming in Morocco that the actor was keen to keep from his wife RITA WILSON. The Oscar winner was forced to leap from the vehicle as his driver lost control and the Jeep careered off a road and down a ravine. After recovering from the accident, Hanks insisted the driver and everyone who found out about the incident keep it to themselves - because he didn't want Wilson to find out. The accident happened as Hanks was on his way to the set of CHARLIE WILSON'S WAR. The Enquirer reports the actor's driver attempted to perform a U-turn on a narrow mountain when the edge of the road gave way and he lost control of the vehicle. No one was hurt.
