HANCOCK GETS POLICE VISIT AFTER FALSE ALARM

Jazz great HERBIE HANCOCK received an unexpected visit from Los Angeles police on Tuesday night (23Jun09) after accidentally setting off his burglar alarm.
A crew of seven cops arrived at the legendary musician's Hollywood Hills pad shortly before midnight to investigate what they thought was a disturbance, reports TMZ.com.
But Hancock was forced to apologise to the officers when he realised he'd unintentionally triggered the silent alarm, which is installed in case of a robbery and is connected to the local police station.
