HAMMER TIME FOR BATMAN

Little-known ARMIE HAMMER will suit up as BATMAN in the upcoming JUSTICE LEAGUE blockbuster after a year spent trying to find the next Caped Crusader. When it quickly became apparent Batman Begins star Christian Bale would not be a part of the comicbook adaptation, producers started looking for another Batman. In the meantime, they cast Teresa Palmer as Talia al Ghul, Adam Brody as The Flash and Common as The Green Lantern in the film. Hammer, 21, has had bit parts in Desperate Housewives, Arrested Development and horse film Flicka. Mad Max director George Miller will start work on the film in 2008.
