Movie icon GEORGE HAMILTON insists his son ASHLEY is in good hands as he prepares to dance with the stars - because his partner is the same tough Polish professional who perfected his waltz and foxtrot on the hit U.S. show.
The celebrities have to wait until Friday (21Aug09) to find out who they'll be partnered up with for the season debut next month (Sep09), but Hamilton has revealed his son will hit the floor with Edyta Sliwinska - his former partner. And he couldn't be happier.
Hamilton tells WENN, "I went into it, I had a busted knee which I had replaced already, four broken ribs and two shoulders that were frozen and they looked at me like (racehorse) Seabiscuit. They just wanted me to go down and have that on film and I didn't.
"Every moment I found I was about to fall I had Edyta, and she said to me, 'Don't worry my little prince, if you fall I'll be there.'
"I didn't believe her until all of a sudden I started falling and this arm of steel came out of the ground and she stuck with me. Now my son is dancing with the great Polish Princess."
Ashley Hamilton will be up against stars like Aaron Carter, MACy Gray and Kelly Osbourne when Dancing With The Stars returns.
