HALLYDAY WARNED TO STAY AWAY FROM SWITZERLAND
Ageing French rocker JOHNNY HALLYDAY has been advised to stay away from his new ski resort home in Switzerland, because he will die of boredom.
The 63-year-old caused controversy when he vowed to spend six months of the year in Gstaad, for tax reasons.
He said, "Like many French people, I've had enough of the taxes we are forced to pay."
However PETER ROTHENBUHLER, editor-in-chief of Swiss daily newspaper Le Matin, has told Hallyday to "stay at home" because there is nothing to keep him stimulated, unless he is "mad about skiing, walking and solitude."
Rothenbuhler adds, "And as Johnny is a guy who cannot stay alone, he will be as bored as a dead rat in Gstaad."
