HALLYDAY EYES SWISS LIFE
French rock legend JOHNNY HALLYDAY is reportedly planning to move to Switzerland, in a bid to avoid paying millions of euros in tax in his native France.
The MON PLUS BEAU NOEL hitmaker, real name JEAN-PHILLIPPE SMET, is planning to spend six months a year living in the alpine town of Gstaad, according to French magazine L'Express.
The news comes months after Hallyday's attempt to secure Belgian nationality - his father was Belgian - failed because he hadn't spent enough time residing in the European nation.
Both Belgium and Switzerland do not impose annual wealth tax and only ask for tax on a small percentage of income from foreign residents.
