HALLIWELL'S 'STALKER' FEARS

GERI HALLIWELL has reportedly increased security at her London home amid fears she has become the target of a crazed fan.
The former Spice Girls star is said to have received a string of nuisance phone calls in recent months and spotted an intruder lurking around her property.
And the singer has now boosted her security arrangements in a bid to protect herself and two-year-old daughter, Bluebell, according to British newspaper The Sun.
A source tells the publication, "Geri has become increasingly concerned over recent months. This individual has been loitering around her home almost continually and it’s really upsetting and scaring her. Her burglar alarm has gone off a number of times when she’s been out and she’s worried about her and Bluebell’s safety.
“The phone was ringing at all hours of the day and night so she had to get a new number. When she was in the Spice Girls they were trailed night and day by obsessional fans.
“But this latest episode is a little more serious than that and she’s not prepared to take any risks with her daughter’s wellbeing.”
It is not the first time Halliwell has received unwanted attention from members of the public - in June last year (08) she was left shaken after a woman sneaked past security at the Glamour awards in London and accosted the star, screaming abuse at her.
