HALLIWELL CALLS OFF ENGAGEMENT?

Pop star GERI HALLIWELL has reportedly called off her engagement to Italian millionaire FABRIZIO POLITI - less than three months after accepting his proposal.
The former Spice Girl, who has a two-year-old daughter Bluebell from a previous relationship, became engaged to the yacht tycoon at Christmas (08) following a whirlwind romance.
But now the singer has decided not to marry Politi after realising she isn't "the marrying type", according to British newspaper The Sun.
A source tells the publication, "She loved being in a relationship but decided that all she needs is her daughter Bluebell to keep her happy.
"Fabrizio is upset but totally respects Geri's wishes.
"Her friends are not surprised - Geri has a track record for getting cold feet."
Halliwell herself has previously spoken of her reluctance to walk down the aisle, admitting in 2008: "I can be fickle. One minute I think somebody is the love of my life, the next I don't. I have commitment issues."
