HALLE BERRY BLASTS PREGNANCY RUMOURS

Halle Berry wore a figure-hugging black dress for an appearance on a US talk show, and took the opportunity to deny claims she is pregnant.

Halle Berry has denied she is pregnant.

The 43-year-old actress - who has 18-month-old daughter Nahla with partner Gabriel Aubry - insists any hint of a baby bump is actually excess weight caused by feasting on too many calorific treats.

When US talk show host Jay Leno complimented her on her appearance, Halle said: "You know, thank you for that, Jay, because that must mean that pregnancy rumours can be put to bed!

"I was getting a complex! Because I was like, 'I've got to stop with the burgers' or something!"

Halle wore a tight-fitting black dress and thigh-high boots for her appearance on the show yesterday (17.09.09), in a further attempt to dispel claims she is pregnant.

Earlier this month, it was reported Halle had undergone artificial insemination to have another baby.

The 'Perfect Stranger' actress has previously spoken of her desire to extend her family, claiming she and Gabriel want at least two children.

She said: "We always talked about having two. Whether or not we'll actually make that happen is left to be seen, but that would be our intent. That's for sure."
