HALFORD FOUNDS RECORD LABEL

JUDAS PRIEST frontman ROB HALFORD has launched his own record label.
The heavy rocker plans to spot and promote up-and-coming metal bands using Metal God Records.
Halford tells MetalHammer.co.uk, "It's been a long desire of mine to be a co-owner and participate in the operation of a label focused on supporting the rock and metal communities.
"The infrastructure we have been assembling at Metal God Entertainment now allows myself and other artists to benefit from Metal God Records' global physical and digital distribution networks, promotion and marketing services, apparel products and a broad range of artist and repertoire services."
Halford has already signed himself to the label - his solo material and music created by his current band Fight will be released through Metal God.
