GURINDER CHADHA: 'I COULD HAVE BEEN LILY ALLEN'
Director GURINDER CHADHA was once tempted to ditch filmmaking for a career in the music world - and is convinced she could've been the next LILY ALLEN or KATE NASH. The Bend It Like Beckham director admits she loves singing, and in her younger days would have hoped to have emulated the careers of the young British pop stars. She says, "I would like to have been a Kate Nash or Lily Allen, one of those singer/songwriters. "I love karaoke, I always get up and sing."
