GUNS N' ROSES SUED

Rocker AXL ROSE is at the centre of a new plagiarism row - executives at two indie record labels have accused him of copying portions of songs by German electronic music artist ULRICH SCHNAUSS.
Record companies Independiente and Domino have filed a lawsuit against Guns N' Roses and Universal Music Group, claiming Riad N' The Bedouins, a track on the group's 2008 album Chinese Democracy, features Schnauss' tracks Wherever You Are and A Strangely Isolated Place without permission.
The labels are seeking $1 million (£666,700) in damages.
The two Schnauss songs came out in 2001 and 2003, respectively, according to RollingStone.com.
