GUMMER ENGAGED

MERYL STREEP is celebrating after her actress daughter MAMIE GUMMER accepted her boyfriend's marriage proposal.
Actor Ben Walker proposed to Gummer over the weekend (17-18Oct09) after 18 months of dating.
He presented her with a custom-made ring - and Gummer was delighted with the romantic gesture.
She tells Us Weekly, "He proposed two days ago. He did it on one knee. My mom loves him!"
