GUCCI MANE ARRESTED

Rapper GUCCI MANE is facing drug and weapons charges after he was arrested by Georgia police on Wednesday (23Jul08) morning.
The Icy star, real name Radric Davis, was pulled over by officers just outside of Atlanta during a routine traffic stop.
According to website AllHipHop.com, Gucci Mane was taken into custody after cops searched his car and found a small stash of marijuana. He was also deemed to be under the influence of drugs.
He was booked at Henry County Jail in MCDonough at 6am on Wednesday on charges of driving under the influence (DUI), possession of less than one ounce of marijuana, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
He was released around three hours later after posting $3,356 (GBP1,678) bail.
Gucci Mane served time behind bars in 2005 after pleading no contest to an allegation of assault.
