GRUFFUDD GLAD TO BREAK TRADITION WITH FANTASTIC FOUR HERO
Actor IOAN GRUFFUDD is grateful for his heroic role in the FANTASTIC FOUR movie series, because he believes British actors are often forced to take settle playing the villain.
The Welsh star plays superhero Reed Richards in the comic films, and believes he has proved to Hollywood he can be convincing as an American.
He says, "I'm delighted to break that tradition. I'm very proud that I've immersed myself into a 100 per cent American character.
"That was my desire as an actor in Hollywood: to be believable as an American. I didn't want any attention brought to the fact that I was a British actor."
