GRIFFITHS SLAMS 'BIG BROTHER' CULTURE
British actor RICHARD GRIFFITHS is adamant he could never be a teacher in real life - because he believes most kids never aspire to more than starring on reality TV phenomenon BIG BROTHER. Griffiths, who plays a teacher in new ALAN BENNETT movie THE HISTORY BOYS, fears for the youth of today - as well as the teachers. He says, "I could no longer dream of being a teacher because of the nightmare situation teachers face in schools today. They've no respect, they don't care about teachers, they don't care about anything. "They're sitting in their arrogant ignorance, thinking it's cool. They just want to be on Big Brother and win GBP100,000 and never have to work again."
