GRIER SEEKING JOINT CUSTODY IN DIVORCE

DAVID ALAN GRIER's divorce from CHRISTINE KIM has taken another twist - the actor is demanding joint custody of their daughter and refusing to pay his estranged wife spousal support.
Kim filed for legal separation from the comedian at Los Angeles County Superior Court last month (Jul09) after two years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences.
She requested sole custody of their one-year-old daughter Luisa, granting Grier periodic visits, and asked for the star to pay spousal support.
But Grier, 54, has hit back in his own court papers, filed this week (ends23Aug09) in Los Angeles and obtained by People.com.
The In Living Color star wants shared custody of their child and has asked a judge to deny Kim's financial requests.
