GRENIER WANTED ENTOURAGE TO GO GREEN
ADRIEN GRENIER wanted his character on TV comedy ENTOURAGE to be more environmentally friendly - until he realised it would make the show boring.
Grenier hassled series producers for years about trying to make his movie star character, Vincent Chase, more green-minded but they always ignored him.
And now he is glad that programme bosses refused to give in to his demands - as it was for the good of viewers.
Grenier tells the New York Post's PageSix magazine, "For years, I tried to get producers to have Vinny sell his Hummer (sports utility vehicle) and buy a (enviromentally friendly Toyota) Prius. Then, I realised this show is entertainment. I know that Entourage is often demeaning and crude, but there's also a lot of social commentary."
