GREER REPLACED BY IRWIN
Feminist writer GERMAINE GREER's photograph has been removed from the National Portrait Gallery in Australia and replaced with a picture of STEVE IRWIN - following her critical comments of the late CROCODILE HUNTER.
Greer criticised Irwin following his death last year (06) from a stingray attack, branding him a danger to the animals he tried to save.
And now the art gallery in his homeland appears to have responded with their own revenge - by taking down the raunchy nude portrait of Greer, 68, in favour of a more tasteful image of the fearless Irwin.
However, the National Portrait Gallery denies this is the case, insisting they are only reacting to increased public demand for a picture of the animal lover.
A spokeswoman says, "It was totally coincidental. (They were) changed because of light levels - it was time for one to come down and another to go up. It just happened to be co-incidental that this one replaced the other."

No surprises here. Australia can't cope with any kind of criticism at all even
when justified. You know we are the best in the world yada yada. What a pity
they can't see that she isn't a yes person, but one smart Australian that they
should indeed be proud off.
