GREEN RIVER REFORM FOR SUB POP PARTY
PEARL JAM stars STONE GOSSARD and JEFF AMENT reunited with MUDHONEY's MARK ARM and STEVE TURNER to recreate the sound of grunge forefathers GREEN RIVER at record label Sub Pop's 20th anniversary party at the weekend (13Jul08).
The group hadn't performed together in over two decades when they wowed fans at Seattle, Washington's Marymoor Park on Sunday with early grunge classics like Swallow My Pride and P.C.C.
The weekend event was a real treat for fans of indie rock with performances from Sub Pop acts Wolf Parade, Les Thugs and Beachwood Sparks.

I love the fact that these are pictures of Mike McCready, who has nothing to do with
Green River. Perhaps you'd care to put up pictures of Stone Gossard or Jeff Ament,
or anyone else associated with the article.
"grunge lite" pioneer sarah de bell would be back to play in between sets LOL!!!
