GRANDMASTER FLASH AXES LONDON GIG

Fans of hip-hop pioneer GRANDMASTER FLASH have been left disappointed after the star cancelled a concert in London next week (12Jun09).
The rap legend was due to perform at club Matter, in the British capital's O2 venue, but the gig has now been pulled due to "logistical" issues.
Grandmaster Flash appeared at the same venue alongside DJ Jazzy Jeff earlier this year (Apr09), but has been forced to axe his planned follow-up.
A spokesman for the venue says, "We wanted to bring him back, but we might try to rearrange it for a later date."
Fans who have bought tickets for the event will be eligible for a refund.
