GRAMMER'S HEART ATTACK CAUSED BY CAREER STRESS
LATEST: KELSEY GRAMMER has blamed pressure from his cancelled sitcom BACK TO YOU for contributing to his recent heart attack.
The actor, 53, was rushed to the hospital in May (08) after suffering a heart attack while paddle-boarding in the sea near his home in Hawaii.
He was taken to a nearby hospital and then airlifted to another clinic in Honolulu.
Now the former Frasier star has revealed the cancellation of the sitcom, axed in May (08) by U.S. network Fox after one year on air, contributed to his health problems.
He tells People.com, "It was a very stressful time for me, and a surprise to me (the show was cancelled).
"But you know, everything that doesn't kill us - which it almost did - makes us stronger."
