GRAMMER'S EARLY ROMANCES WERE DOOMED

Former FRASIER star KELSEY GRAMMER's eldest kids were the result of terrible relationships that were doomed from the start. The beloved TV star admits he made a number of terrible romance blunders at the height of his drug and alcohol abuse. He tells Parade magazine, "I'm attracted to threshold experiences, to chaos, insanity, mayhem, so I was drawn to women who were dramatic, emotional and unpredictable, with great sexual energy. "I liked surprises. I liked women who could be demonstrative, demanding, socially unacceptable." Grammer claims, looking back, most of his romances were terrible - and the only good he got out of them were great kids. His first daughter, Spencer, now 23, was the product of a messy two year marriage to dancer Doreen Alderman, while his teenage daughter Greer was from make-up artist Barrie Buckner. Grammer is now happily married to his third wife, Camille.
