GRAMMER GOES BACK TO TV

Former FRASIER star KELSEY GRAMMER is eyeing a return to primetime TV by starring in the pilot for a new show - just weeks after his latest sitcom was axed by U.S. network Fox.
Grammer's most recent TV project Back To You, was cancelled earlier this month (May08) after only one season - with Fox blaming last year's (07) writers strike for the falling ratings and ultimately the show's demise.
But the 53-year-old actor is keen to get back to work and has signed up to star in a pilot episode of new ABC comedy Roman's Empire.
The programme will also star Nick Thune and Christine Woods.
