GRAEME LE SAUX IS FIRST TO LEAVE DANCING ON ICE
Former England footballer Graeme Le Saux has become the first contestant voted off Dancing On Ice.
The ex-Chelsea player and television pundit was booted off the ITV1 talent show in the first episode of the new series.
Investigative reporter Donal MacIntyre also reached the bottom two but was saved by the judging panel.
"I thoroughly enjoyed it, it was short but sweet. I'm going to miss all the guys and the beautiful Kristina [Lenko]," Le Saux said after leaving the programme.
The 40-year-old had been injured during training for the first instalment of the series, cutting his lip and hitting his head during a fall.
He and Kristina scored 14.5 points out of a possible 30 after their first dance, but still reached the bottom two.
Former EastEnders star Todd Carty and his partner Susie Lipanova had earlier been awarded only 7.5 points while one-time X Factor contestant Ray Quinn topped the leader board with 23.5 points.
The six female contestants take to the ice rink next weekend.
