GRACE JONES BREAKS SURNAME GATHERING RECORD
LATEST: Singer/actress GRACE JONES has helped break the record for the largest gathering of people sharing the same surname. The former BOND girl performed two songs at the event, which took place at the Millennium Centre in Cardiff, Wales on Friday night (03NOV06). The record-breaking ceremony boasted 1,224 Joneses from around the world, and featured a special message from Welsh singer SIR TOM JONES to his namesakes. The record was previously held by Sweden, which hosted a gathering of 583 Nordbergs in 2004.
