GOSSELAAR REPLACES COOPER IN NEW YORK PLAY
TV actor MARK-PAUL GOSSELAAR has replaced THE HANGOVER star BRADLEY COOPER for the Off Broadway debut of THE UNDERSTUDY.
The former Saved By The Bell actor will be Julie White's new co-star when he joins Tony Award-winner and Weeds actor Justin Kirk in the Theresa Rebeck comedy.
Cooper performed in the play last summer (08) when it showed at the Williamstown Theater Festival - and White predicted the actor would pass up reprising his role thanks to his booming film career.
She said, "He's too big a cheese these days! But I'm sure they'll get someone equally hunky."
Scott Ellis will direct the new cast, which will make its debut with the Roundabout Theatre Company on 5 November (09).
