GOSLING TO PLAY FOURTH JACK RYAN

THE NOTEBOOK star RYAN GOSLING is to pick up where ALEC BALDWIN, BEN AFFLECK and HARRISON FORD left off in a new JACK RYAN movie. Baldwin, Ford and Affleck have played author Tom Clancy's CIA analyst in films like The Hunt For Red October, Patriot Games and The Sum Of All Fears, and now it's Gosling's turn. Moviemaker Phillip Noyce was attached to direct prequel By Any Means Necessary, but website MovieHole.net reports he is no longer involved. The new film won't be based on one of Clancy's books.
