GORE RULES OUT WHITE HOUSE BID
Former US vice president AL GORE has ruled out a bid to run for the American presidency in the 2008 elections.
Instead, Gore will concentrate on his fight against global climate change following the enormous success of his environmental documentary AN INCONVENIENT TRUTH.
He says, "I have no intention to run for president. I can't imagine in any circumstance to run for office again."
Gore was defeated in the 2000 presidential race by GEORGE W. BUSH.
On Thursday (15FEB07), he announced a massive summer 24-hour world concert to save the planet from global warming, which PHARRELL WILLIAMS, JOHN LEGEND, THE BLACK EYED PEAS, FALL OUT BOY and KELLY CLARKSON have already agreed to play.
