GOONIES SEQUEL TO BE ANIMATED

A follow up to 1980s family classic THE GOONIES is in the works - and it will be animated. The cult adventure film starred Sean Astin, Corey Feldman and Josh Brolin and while a sequel to the 1985 movie has often been mooted it's the first time an animated version has been planned. Feldman says, "Right now they are talking about the idea of doing it as an animated series."
